In this activity, we will explore the different political parties’ views on a variety of issues. Students will look at the parties’ platforms at the websites of the Green, Libertarian, Socialist, Constitution, Democratic, and Republican Parties. The students will fill out the Party stance matrix for all political parties. Use the research you have made to fill out the matrix, USA Political Party Activity Matrix. Students will then write two paragraphs describing what political party they align with using each issue on the matrix. Briefly explain why you support each stance.
