I’m working on a social science question and need support to help me learn. Imagine you’re going to be interviewing or reviewing applications for the job of President of the United States (POTUS). Read Article II of the US Constitution and figure out what you think the qualifications for the job might be. From there you have a few things to do: Step 1:You can either … A) Write up a job description for the job that you might post for recruiting people to apply for the job. orB) Write up a list of questions you might ask someone who is applying for the job. Or you can write up a process that would allow you to select or find the best person for the job of POTUS. Step 2:Remember, this should not be based on your personal preferences or contemporary issues, but rather on what you take from what is written in Article II. So be careful to root your work in Article II and write a paragraph that explains how what you did in Step 1 reflects what you took out of Article II. Step 3:Then review prior people who have served in the office and see who you think the last person was who held the office who had the requisite skill set. Which is to say, when do you think the last time was the Electoral College got it right according to Article II. Who was the last president who met the criteria and was, according to Article II, qualified and fit to serve as President of the United States?
